Craig Thompson has generously offered to open his workshop for an open house. A dedicated workspace adjacent to his garage, there is adequate inside space to hold the event rain or shine. He will show us his shop, tools, and several projects he has made.

Our Group’s First Shop Tour – July 14, 2020

Date & Time of Tour: July 14, 2020 Time 3–5 PM (please stagger arrival times)

Address: 3770 Bridgewater Drive (just northwest of the Reserve Club; 2nd house west; of intersection of Bridgewater and Wyndmere)

Parking Considerations: Ample parking on street, in eyebrow or in adjacent lots

Ground Rules / Other Comments: Ample space in garage for members to gather and then pass thru the adjoining shop. Please bring a mask. Cold water will be available.

There will also be a small silent auction of some tools to help out a woodworker moving away; bring cash or a checkbook.

  • Main tools: 10-inch radial arm saw, tablesaw, bandsaw, drill press, ShopSmith, 48-inch belt sander, mortise cutter, floor compressor, biscuit cutter, router table, 13-inch planer, chopsaw, CNC machine, 15-inch drum sander (still in box), and many handtools.
  • Air system – portable vacuum and dust collector feeding cyclone, plus hanging air filtration system
