The time Covid has required members to be sequestered away in their shops has resulted in some amazing projects. Here are a few that members passed along, with a few pre-Covid projects thrown in for inspiration. (Project photos shown below in no particular order . . .)

A herd of rocking horses for the grandkids by Joe Raiti.
Custom trellis system by Tom Duym. Used 1 x 6 cedar from Builders Supply. Routed overlap joints to construct lattice with a routing jig that I made. Arches made with a sandwich construction out of 1/4 ply to reduce weight. Used liquid nails and stainless brads for lattice and sunk deck screws where extra strength was needed on frame. Center ray (used oak for that) is reinforced and attached with angle iron and bolts to bear weight. Use turnbuckles connected to lead anchors in bluestone so they are removable for hurricane prep. Morning Glory climbing vine seeds have sprouted and will be put in planter boxes. Made this corner of the front porch “cozier”. They performed very well with recent high winds.
